Apple store disabled worldwide as they prep for major event happening today

The Apple Store has been disabled around the world ahead of the tech giant’s major event that is expected to take place today.

The firm is rumored to be announcing new products at today’s ‘awe dropping’ event.

The long awaited Apple event, which the tech company itself has described as being ‘special’, is set to take place today (September 9) at 1pm ET.

While it is not yet known what exactly will be revealed, Apple fans are sharing rumors about what products might be set to be launched.

If you want to tune into the event yourself and be among the first to hear of the new additions, Apple has shared that it will be streaming the event directly from its website for viewers to watch.

Alternatively, you can also see it by using the Apple TV app on your television monitor.

Fans were shocked to find out that the Apple Store is currently not available online, with people taking to social media to react to the news.

On Reddit, one user shared: “The Apple Store is now disabled worldwide due to preparations for the upcoming Apple event today.”

Another wrote: “Would someone PLEASE spare a thought for the poor b*****d who urgently wants to order a polishing cloth online.”

And another added: “Funny enough I'm that person. Went into an Apple store yesterday and they didn't have any in.”

iPhone 17

First up, the new range of iPhones are expected to be the first ones to use iOS 26’s Liquid Glass design.

The Pro version will have a 48 megapixel camera and some have said they believe that device will no longer be made from titanium and instead will be a combination of glass and aluminum.

It’s not known how much the devices will cost but it has been speculated that the iPhone 17 base model could start from $850, with the rumored new Air model going for around $899.

The brand new device is expected to be unveiled for the first time tomorrow and here is everything people are saying about it so far:

First up, the iPhone Air is being said to have a 6.6 inch OLED screen and could have some design alternations due to its smaller size.

While it isn’t known where the USB-C port will be placed, it has been said that it won’t be locked in the center of the bottom of the device.
