There's nothing worse than feeling uncomfortable on a long haul flight and we've all had those moments when we've dreamt of the experience you'd get on a luxury private jet, and one new US airline startup could provide that soon for a fraction of the cost.
Flights are expensive at the best of times, and if you have any plans of traveling across the world then you should probably be prepared to empty your wallet and still be left with little more than the bare minimum when it comes to leg room and comfort.
Some airline companies have come up with 'ingenious' ways to save money by creating standing seats or two-tiered systems that have some rather unfortunate consequences for those seated below.
However, one new US airline startup appears to have found a magical solution to provide an excellent travel experience without the burden of cost, offering a cross between first-class travel and private jet experiences without the comparatively extortionate price tag.

As reported by the Independent, Florida-based airline Magnifica Air have announced their aim to launch a number of scheduled flights between key locations across America in 2027, with luxurious seats and suites upgrading the typical travel experience.
There is definitely still a catch here though, as while it is certainly cheaper for what you're getting – at least if what Magnifica is promising comes true – it will still be prohibitively expensive for most Americans and reserved for that pocket of people who are rich enough to travel luxuriously, but haven't got enough money for their own private jet.
TikTok videos have shown quite how much it can cost to just get a private jet cleaned, and that is without any of the actual costs you'd incur, so this might at least give a recreation of the experience without the immense financial burden of owning one yourself.

"Right now, if you want a truly luxurious experience, you've got two options," a blog post from Magnifica argues. "Pay 10 times the cost of a first-class ticket for a private jet, or deal with the frustrations of commercial first-class travel, where you're still treated like just another number. Magnifica Air is stepping into that space between."

If you did fly on one of their planes you'd be joined exclusively by people who are also in that rather unique and rare wealth bracket, but it's currently unclear quite how expensive the tickets will end up being.
Magnifica are also claiming to offer its flyers their own private terminals where facial recognition technology will make the security and bag-handling process "seamless," although again, it's unclear where these will take place.
