Reddit user debates getting rid of their Cybertruck after receiving this reaction from another driver

Safe to say not everyone is in love with the Cybertruck's futuristic design.

Cybetrucks are some of the most divisive vehicles out on the roads.

And one Tesla fan experienced this first-hand, when they were cruising around and another driver expressed their, er, displeasure at the pickup.

"Got my first thumbs down," Reddit user orangeofdeath posted on the subreddit r/cybertruck.

"Guy rolled his window down and everything, really made sure I saw it. Think I should get rid of the CT???"

That last part is likely a joke, as we imagine that Reddit user had gone through quite a lot to get their hands on a Cybertruck.

Not only would they have had to make their way to the top of the waiting list, but they also would have had to shell out at least $39,900 (£31,500) for the base model - but chances are they would have had to pay a lot more on top of this, what with taxes and extra fees.

In the comment section, Redditors are coming up with suggestions on how to react to someone hating on your Cybertruck.

"Give him a thumbs up and an excited smile as if you are some foreigner who does not understand. That really confuses those with the finger. Kill with kindness too," one user suggested, while also adding: "Maybe Tesla can send an OTA update (and or upgrade the external speaker) so we can give them a loud fart mode response. I can already see the news headline - ‘Farting Tesla Causes Road Rage Incident’."

Cybertrucks certainly are conspicuous out on the roads.

While others are keen to take the Cybertruck off this Redditor's hands - out of the kindness of their hearts, of course.

"Yup they verified it the truck is worthless. I being the nice guy that I am will take it off your hands for $10," one offered, while another had the same idea: "Yeah, gotta get rid of it now. I can take ot off your hands."

In the comment section, the original poster confirmed they were joking and wrote: "This post is obviously tongue in cheek, but I’ve generally received a lot of positivity and admiration for the truck. People generally are bewildered and want to learn more."

And it would seem like owning a Cybertruck has actually had a positive impact on them: "Hilariously, driving this thing has made me a better and more courteous driver because you’re so easily known!"
