Netflix fans are ‘staying up all night’ to watch the latest thriller series that has a coveted 100% score on Rotten Tomatoes.

A new show has landed on the streaming platform and has got a lot of people talking, with many saying that the series is binge-worthy.

The thriller series Secrets We Keep follows the story of a young au pair who goes missing in a suburb of Copenhagen.

The wealthy family that employs her is then left to deal with the fallout of the case.

In the thriller’s synopsis, it says: “In one of the most affluent neighborhoods outside of Copenhagen, just about every family has an au pair from the Philippines, Cecilie (Bach Hansen) and her husband Mike are no exception: Their beloved au pair, Angel (Busano), does just about everything around the house, even helping their preteen son get to sleep each night.

“Cecilie and Mike’s friends and next-door neighbors Rasmus (Ranthe) and Katarina (Curcic) employ an au pair, too — a close friend of Angel’s named Ruby (Levkovski).”

It goes on to say: “But one morning, Ruby disappears without a trace. After questioning Rasmus and Katarina about Ruby’s whereabouts, Cecilie grows concerned that they may have had a hand in whatever happened to her.

“As Cecilie delves deeper into the mystery, she begins to suspect that there may be more people from her inner circle involved than she wants to believe.”

The show has become a smash hit among Netflix users, and it has even achieved a perfect critical score on Rotten Tomatoes.

The audience score isn’t too shabby either, earning a score of 73% from viewers.

Many critics shared their reviews of the series, with one writing: “Secrets We Keep holds on to your attention from the first episode and its twists and turns are nothing short of thrilling.”

Another said: “Secrets We Keep explores similar thematic territory to this year's most zeitgeisty hits Adolescence and The White Lotus, and in some ways handles its dark material even better.”

A third critic concluded: “Secrets We Keep uses the familiar tropes of suburban mysteries (missing girls, tight-knit communities, smug rich people, pristine lawns hiding rotting secrets) but twists them into something far more intimate and morally disquieting.”

Directed by Per Fly, the Danish show stars Marie Bach Hansen (The Legacy), Simon Sears (Shadow and Bone), Lars Ranthe (Another Round), and Danica Curcic (The Chestnut Man), as well as Excel Busano, Frode Bilde Rønsholt, Lukas Zuperka, Sara Fanta Traore, and Donna Levkovski.
