An autopsy has now allegedly revealed the real cause of death for a streamer that passed away live on air after being 'tortured' for a period of ten days, and it's not what many people thought it would be.
Social media and the streaming world have been left stunned after the news of one popular live streamer's passing, as French creator Raphaël Graven, who was known by his online moniker Jeanpormanove, tragically died after being subjected to lengthy 'torture' streams.
Graven, who has over one million followers on the live streaming platform Kick, was recently involved in streams that subjected him to violence and sleep deprivation as a result of donations, similar to other 'forfeit' streams on other platforms.

He even reportedly send a heartbreaking message to his mother saying that he felt as if he was 'being held hostage' and was 'fed up' with the controversial streams.
His final stream, which appeared to last for ten days, ultimately culminated in his death on air as Graven tragically passed away in his sleep on August 18, and was discovered in his residence in Contes, France.
The 46-year-old's death has prompted significant scrutiny from French officials, with government minister Clara Chappaz describing his death as an "absolute horror" after launching an judicial investigation into the proceedings, as per the BBC.

However, prosecutor Damien Martinelli revealed that new information from medical examiners indicates that the streamer's death "was not traumatic in origin," with the autopsy alleging that his passing was "not related to the intervention of a third party."
This contradicts much of what was thought and presumed to be the case following the nature of Jeanpormanove's controversial streams, yet forensic doctors found no "internal or external traumatic injuries" or burns, with only a handful of bruises and healed lesions present on his body.

Martinelli added that "the probable causes of death appear to be medical and/or toxicological," with suggestions that the streamer could have had a heart issue alongside problems with his thyroid.

Official government investigations are still ongoing into the circumstances that led to Raphaël Graven's death, but as horrific as what he was subject to was, current evidence appears to suggest that it was not directly linked to his demise.
Regardless, Kick also continues to investigate and review the circumstances that led to the streamer's death on its own platform – especially as he did indeed pass away live on air – with a spokesperson indicating to the BBC that the company was "urgently reviewing" the situation.
Officials in France have also seized equipment and videos that were involved in the events that led to Graven's death and could possibly have contributed to it as a means of evidence.
