The latest OnlyFans controversy continues to dominate the internet, as former YouTube child star Piper Rockelle has issued a fiery response to 'gross' backlash after revealing her jaw-dropping day one earnings on the adult platform.

Conversations surrounding OnlyFans and similar adult content websites as a platform have remained controversial for years now, and have only become more enflamed following its proliferation into broader social media.

Many have criticized the impact that high-profile adult content stars such as Bonnie Blue, Lily Phillips, and Sophie Rain have had on younger and more impressionable individuals, and that has seemingly only become more apparently with a select few viral child stars turning to the platform once they reach the legal minimum age.

Last year we saw this happen with Lil Tay, real name Tay Tian, who made her OnlyFans debut to great financial success just days after turning 18, and a similar focus has been placed on fellow social media star Piper Rockelle after she took to the site this month.

Rockelle initially began posting on YouTube when she was just eight-years-old and built a significant following over the years that itself wasn't without controversy, having featured in a Netflix documentary on the 'dark side' of kidfluencing.

She turned 18 in August 2025, but late last year began teasing that she would be joining OnlyFans to the point where she even had a countdown on her X profile, as per The Tab.

The 18-year-old then shared the eye-watering amount of money she earned from the platform in the first day alone, reaching the $1 million mark in an hour and hitting $2.9 million by the end of the day.

She has received significant criticism, both for sharing her revenue figures and in relation to her status as a child star on social media, yet she's now issued a passionate response on TikTok to the 'gross' backlash she received.

"You guys cannot convince me that I'm the gross one. Tell me why every single one of my search bars is, 'Piper Rockelle unblurred photos', 'Piper Rockelle leak photos', 'Piper Rockelle ass pics'. Y'all are so quick to hate it, yet so fast to search that s*** up," she proclaimed.

"Who's the real gross one? You," she added, before stating: "Actually, I don't mind. If you're going on there, if you're buying s***, do whatever you want, take everything."

In this she's pointing out the hypocrisy that, in her eyes, many of the same people that have criticised her move to OnlyFans are the ones either in search of her content across social media or contributing to the millions that she's already earned.
