Former YouTube child star Piper Rockelle has managed to find herself in the midst of another controversy after launching an OnlyFans account just months after turning 18, as she claps back at her 'haters' regarding the earnings she boasted on day one.

It's not the first time a social media star has received backlash after turning to adult content creation website OnlyFans and it certainly won't be the last, but former child YouTube creator Piper Rockelle is the latest to find herself in the spotlight for good or bad.

Starting her internet journey when she was just eight-years-old, Rockelle has earned herself over 12 million subscribers on YouTube and even more on other social media platforms like TikTok.

Being one of the most popular 'kidfluencers' her career was already somewhat controversial – especially after the release of a Netflix exposé documentary that she was featured in – but she's managed to find herself in hot water with social media again for a different reason.

Piper officially launched her OnlyFans account on January 1, 2026, just months after turning 18, and according to jaw-dropping earnings she was proud to reveal it was an immediate success.

Not only did she claim to have earned over $1 million in the first hour that the account was open, but had bagged over $3.4 million across the course of the first day.

She had to deal with significant backlash from wider social media following her decision to debut on the platform, yet has on numerous occasions responded to the criticism that she has branded 'gross'.

The latest controversy is one she might not have expected though, as fellow OnlyFans creator Jameliz Smith has accused her of lying about the exuberant earnings that were shared on day one.

Taking to TikTok, Smith pointed out that Rockelle's announcement for reaching the $1 million milestone had a rather alarming mistake, as she 'forgot' to take out the dollar sign after the 'Messages' total, which is allegedly evidence that the whole thing was faked.

"Hey Piper, I know you're following in the footsteps of your homegirl Sophie Rain, faking statements and whatnot, but unfortunately for you her Photoshop was just a little bit better," Jameliz proclaimed.

"If you look right hear at the end of the Messages revenue, you left the dollar sign at the end. I know, it's a rookie mistake," she continued in jest, "but you know what, I think you should ask her to help you next time since she has a lot of experience doing s*** like this."

Rockelle has since deleted the original post that Jameliz was referencing, and has now issued her own response to claims that she was lying.

"I was like, if I ever do be successful on this platform, I would love to kind of tweak it and make it look like, you know, I Photoshopped it, because, listen, once people talk about 'I made a million in an hour', they have nothing else to talk about," she explained.

"Now they have that to talk about, and something else to talk about. This whole industry is kinda getting people to talk about you no matter what it is.

"I have been through literally such crazy things, but I really do think that any publicity is good publicity, because I've had some terrible publicity on my name, but I'm still here."

That does certainly seem to apply in this case as Piper is being talked about more now than she arguably ever has, and both the initial shocking earnings and now the accusations of lying are only continuing to keep her name in people's minds, potentially leading to further interest in her account.
