One of the most popular OnlyFans creators has revealed that her notoriety on social media has had an unintended effect, causing her parents to 'lose friends' as a result of her controversial actions.
24-year-old British adult content star Lily Philips became known within the last year for controversial content that saw her perform challenges where she would sleep with over 100 men in a single day.
This is far from the only time that content produced on sites like OnlyFans has been scrutinized in the public eye, as only recently one popular social media star was questioned for joining the website mere seconds after turning 18, but the alleged extremity of Philips' acts certainly gained plenty of attention.
Beyond the acts themselves, which were advertised across her TikTok and Instagram accounts, Lily also featured in several documentaries, including a recent episode of Stacey Dooley Sleeps Over with her parents, as reported by the Daily Mail.

Dooley's emotional conversation with her parents Lindsay and Emma saw them reveal their anxiety over her career, with her father in particular offering particular concern.
"If there's anything we could do to change her profession, we'd do it overnight," he revealed, adding that "it's the 'degradingness' of it and making sure she's safe.
"Sometimes we think have we done anything wrong with her upbringing, well as far as I'm concerned we've had nothing but times and love... Is it money? Because if it was money, we'd sell our house. You could have everything you want Lily if you gave it all up now," he pleaded.

Lily has since responded to her parents' comments in a recent episode of the Should I Delete That podcast, where she shared a shocking and unintended consequence of her popularity in the adult content world.
"It was quite hard for them. You'll see in the documentary, them talking about their struggles throughout. That really hurt them and they lost some friends throughout it," she explained.

She also discussed what she believes to be a double standard when it comes to women in the adult content industry, as men aren't held to the same standards or scrutiny.
"If a male porn star was sitting here, we wouldn't be asking them the same thing," she claimed, adding that "people make it out that there are so many of us women these days who are being really promiscuous and it's like, there's only one of me and there's hundreds of these guys doing this."
There is, in her eyes, also a justification for her actions due to the demand for the content that she has produced, and it has certainly proved fruitful by earning her potentially millions, which is something we have seen across several other content creators on OnlyFans.
