A diver was stunned when a shark swallowed his GoPro, capturing some bizarre footage that will leave you feeling queasy.

In the clip that was uploaded to YouTube, you can see the shark approaching the cameraman and suddenly latch on to the camera, mistaking it for a tasty snack.

The voiceover of the video explains: “Shocking video after the shark approached this cameraman but instead of swallowing the man he swallows the camera revealing the inside structure of the shark.

“In its mouth you could see the shark gills which are these small openings and the cartilage teeth.

“The sharks don’t actually have any bones but this is when it realizes that it could not eat the camera, instead of a small fish the camera was not edible, so the shark desperately tries to pump out the camera by exhaling the water deporting it back to where it came from like Donald Trump.”

The clip prompted viewers to take to the YouTube comment section to share their own reactions to the up-close view of the inside of the shark’s mouth.

One user wrote: “Shark: bro this is disgusting.”

Another said: “Shark : SOME BODY HELP ME IM CHOKING.”

A third person joked: “Shark after eating the camera: Damn I should post it on YouTube.”

And a fourth added: “Putting it back where it came from like Donald Trump had me dying!”

It seems that sometimes we get more than we bargain for when it comes to discoveries through GoPro cameras.

One YouTuber was even urged to make an ‘emergency call immediately’ after he dropped his GoPro into the ocean and discovered an eerie object.

Dusty Sands decided to plunge the camera off a jetty in the Australian city of Port Noarlunga.

Uploading the footage to his YouTube channel, he wrote in the description: “Dropping my Gopro off the side of a jetty in Port Noarlunga.

“We looked back at the footage and kinda got freaked out when we saw it. We tried dropping the GoPro in at the same spot a few more times but never showed up again.”

As the camera plummeted into the murky water, it panned around before revealing a bulbous object that appeared to be beside one of the supports.

It was round and had pronounced spikes, as well as a chain hanging down underneath it further into the water, with many fearing that it could be a naval mine.
