It's the dawn of a new era for Piper Rockelle, and after cutting her teeth as a child star on YouTube, the former ‘kidfluencer’ has decided to take a much more adult turn in her career. After being the center of a $22 million lawsuit and having her life dramatized in Netflix's Bad Influence: The Dark Side of Influencing, Rockelle has firmly left YouTube behind.
Starting out on TikTok as part of Sophie Rain's Bop House, she then launched her own OnlyFans to celebrate her 18th birthday.
Rockelle has been making headlines amid claims she's broken records on the platform, even saying she's earned up to $3,000 simply for selling a picture of her foot. While Rockelle's OnlyFans is said to be just the right side of SFW, she's taken plenty of heat and had to deal with a lot of misogyny, although she seems to be taking it in her stride.
There's a continued debate about the rise of OnlyFans stars, especially with a discussion around the proposition of a supposed 'sin tax' that would take a chunk of a performers' earnings.

Rockelle herself has also come under fire for repeatedly asking Grok to edit her pictures in the aftermath of its own photo manipulation scandal.
Speaking to ABC News about her new pivot into adult entertainment, Rockelle addressed the idea that most of her fans are older men.
The outlet's Juju Chang asked: "Does it trouble you that a lot of your fans are older men?"
An honest Rockelle explained: "I don't really think about it like that. I don't think about it that much."
When pressed on the fact that her OnlyFans seems to be suggestive but doesn't contain any actual nudity, Rockelle continued: "I mean, no, not yet. At least I'm not shutting that door because I'm very comfortable with who I am, but nothing yet."
Saying she just started and is happy to show off her body, Rockelle then circled back to the kind of people that view her content. Getting even more honest, she said: "It's lonely people. I don't care who they are, but I care for them as an individual, and I just want to make them more happy.
"If that's what they want! If they want me to be mean to them, I don't care."
As for the video, there was backlash against ABC News, with many accusing it of being an 'advert' for OnlyFans.
One critic wrote: "This is genuinely so f**king weird take this down."
Another said: "This is a promotion of her? Man our society is so screwed."
A third concluded: "Poor kid. Victim of social media."
While both Rockelle and ABC News are taking the flak, the 18-year-old remains defiant and seems destined to continue on this current trajectory.
