One YouTuber has found himself in some potentially perilous waters when he attempted to break into the infamous Epstein Island, filming the experience and uploading it online to show how things have changed on Little Saint James.

We know there's a growing market for dark tourism, with the likes of Turkmenistan's 'city of the dead' becoming an unexpected destination, and many a YouTuber trying to show us what's going on in North Korea.

Ed Gein's house was even burned down just before it was auctioned off, with the man himself saying it was a good thing because it was in danger of becoming a tourist attraction.

However, just like we saw when someone was arrested when trying to visit the outlawed North Sentinel Island, trespassing in some of these areas can be just as dangerous as it is illegal.

As the Trump administration continues to release the Epstein files and everyone from Elon Musk to Bill Gates speaks out on their reported connections to the shamed financier, YouTube star Nico Grigg has cashed in on our continued obsession with Jeffrey Epstein.

Officially known as Little Saint James, the infamous Epstein Island has also been nicknamed everything from the 'Isle of Babes' to 'P*dophile Island’. It's since found a new owner following his death in 2019.

Located in the United States Virgin Islands, Little Saint James was supposedly acquired alongside Great Saint James for $60 million in 2023, purchased by billionaire Stephen Deckoff's SD Investments firm.

Gregg refers to it as one of the most restricted places in the world, pointing to the various conspiracy theories about Epstein and what went down on Little Saint James. Giving himself just 48 hours to break onto the island, he reiterated that there's 24/7 security ready to make his job even harder.

Using a drone to initially scope out Little Saint James, Gregg then attempted to access it on a jet ski during some pretty choppy weather.

The video includes a disclaimer reminding viewers that this is a documentary-style project and isn't supposed to encourage "trespassing, illegal activity, or unsafe behavior," also telling them not to attempt their own version of this.

With some of his crew distracting the instructors who'd told them not to go onto the island, Gregg was stopped short of getting onto the island, and people on Little Saint James were seen on the phone (presumably to authorities).

Gregg then reportedly got a DM that read: "Hello. I work at Little Saint James. Saw you today, and if you try to come on, we will have you arrested and detained." He later clarified that this was just someone pranking him.

Undeterred, the YouTuber made another attempt the next day and is seen leaping off his jet ski to swim toward the beach. Saying he managed to get his hand on land, he didn't meet any resistance this time around.

Giving an update after making it home, Gregg said: "Ever since I got home from filming this video, there have been suspicious vehicles parked outside my house almost every single day. But the only thing I can think about is I could have made it further on the island."

In the comments, many were concerned about Gregg's safety, especially with his claims that black SUVs keep parking outside his house. Either way, we'd advise leaving Little Saint James off your next holiday bucket list.
