TikTok users have been left disgusted after a woman claimed that she ‘ate her own rib’ in a viral clip.

People on social media were shocked to hear a woman describe what she did with her rib after having surgery to remove it.

A TikToker known online as pterodactylhunny posted a video where she recalled how she had tried her own rib meat after having a surgery during her high school years.

Explaining to viewers that she’d had the operation due to a ‘rare blood syndrome thing’, the woman claimed that she had asked surgeons if she could keep her rib afterwards.

In the video, she said: “For some reason, they just agreed to give it back to me.”

The woman went on to share that she had received the rib in a small vial and that the bone still had some meat on it.

In order to preserve the bone, she removed the muscle from it when she got home by boiling it and to the horror of viewers watching the clip, the woman claimed that instead of throwing the meat away, she ‘tried some of it’.

In the video, which has now racked up a whopping 1.8 million views, she said: “I have eaten some of my own human flesh. It didn’t taste good by the way. It tasted very bad.”

A lot of people took to the TikTok comment section to share their own reactions to the shocking video, with many people sharing a similar sentiment.

One user wrote: “How do you delete someone else's video?”

Another said: “I wish they’d take this app away like they keep saying they will.”

A third person commented: “If you’re comfortable sharing this online, I can only imagine what you consider too personal to post.”

And a fourth added: “Girl… It’s not too late to delete this.”

This prompted a response from the woman, who replied with: “Ur jealous I have tasted the forbidden snack.”

However, not everyone was as horrified as the majority of viewers, with one user commenting that ‘this is weird but it’s also dope as hell’.

Bizarrely, this isn’t the only person to claim on TikTok that she has eaten her own rib meat, with another user going viral for a similar clip.

It is not clear whether there is any truth behind the videos, with many people arguing that this could just be an attempt at virality!
