Social media star and catchphrase lover Big John has shared a promising health update on Instagram, as he revealed the progress he's made on his weight loss journey after leaving the doctor's office.
John "Big John" Fisher has made a name for himself on social media over the years for his love of takeaway food, particularly from Chinese restaurants, and he's even behind the popularization of 'bosh' as a catchphrase online.
He began his social media journey back in 2022 after a video shared by his son β professional boxer Johnny Fisher β went viral, and has amassed over 700,000 followers on Instagram alone in just three years.
While the 'Boshfather' might be best known for his association with unhealthy food, he has recently revealed his desire to improve his health by working on weight loss with a local doctor.

It's unclear exactly how long he's been monitoring his progress, but a new video saw him share a promising update with his followers after a recent visit to the doctor's office.
Taking to Instagram, Big John praised his GP, noting that he's a "very good doctor, he's helping me with my weight loss, he's monitoring my weight."
Thankfully his work so far has paid off quite considerably, as the social media star revealed that he'd lost 3.2 stone (roughly 20 kilograms) so far, and has plans to continue the journey beyond that.
"Now I've lost over 20 kilos, 3.2 stone down, onwards and upwards," Fisher proudly declared. "Here's to the next 3.2 stone," he added, "let's have it, up the lemons, they helped me lose weight," rounding it off with the customary bosh, of course.
Big John hasn't shared what methods he's been using so far to lose weight, but it thankfully hasn't stopped him from enjoying his beloved takeaways, nor has it prevented him from continuing to fly around the world, which currents has him touring Australia.

Plenty of people have offered their praise and support in the video's comments section, including a message from his wife Charlotte, who said that she was 'proud' of him and encouraged him to 'keep going'.
"Well done John, I lost 6 stone 18 years ago and still managing to keep it off," wrote another commenter, whereas a third joked that people are "gonna be calling you Little John soon enough."
Others have noted that they're already able to see a difference in his face following the weight loss, declaring that he's an 'inspiration' to everyone across the country trying to lose weight at the same time.
