Brooklyn Beckham's Instagram drama could see Victoria Beckham make history with viral social media campaign

I'll tell you what I want, what I really, really want

While Victoria Beckham might've left her Spice Girls days behind her, things are certainly a little 'spicy' in her private life right now. Bursting onto the music scene as part of the all-girl quintet in the '90s, Victoria Adams has become much more than just Posh Spice, having successfully managed her own solo career, an impressive fashion label, and being remembered as half of one of the most iconic celebrity couples of all time.

Not that Victoria and David Beckham ever really left our lives, but with the former becoming a memeworthy sensation after she let us behind the curtain for Netflix's Victoria Beckham in 2025, many saw a different side to her.

Now, the notoriously secretive Mrs. Beckham is having her personal life thrust into the limelight once again – but this time, not due to a documentary.

Although there had been rumblings about a falling out between David, Victoria, and their eldest son, that has since exploded into a full-blown scandal after Brooklyn took to Instagram.

Calling out his parents for supposedly 'manipulative' behavior and presenting 'their own facade' to the world, there was a lot to unpack.

Away from jaw-dropping allegations that Brooklyn's parents wanted him to sign away his name, Victoria called him 'evil', and the entire family has blocked him on social media, perhaps the biggest bombshell is that his mother supposedly danced 'inappropriately' at his wedding (we need the video, like yesterday).

As we continue to search for an internet-breaking video of VB infamously dancing at her son's wedding, her music could be enjoying something of a Streisand Effect as it soars up the charts.

Even though it's not as viral as Brooklyn's, a hit Instagram post is calling to get Victoria Beckham's "Not Such an Innocent Girl" to the top of the charts. Saying it's a 'national tragedy' that she's the only member of the Spice Girls not to have a solo number one, the campaign is seeking to fix this.

The post adds: "Nothing says 'British Culture' like collectively deciding to send Posh to the top of the charts because her son roasted her on Insta. Imagine both their faces."

Saying that they've seen more about Victoria Beckham in 24 hours than in the past 20 years, it continues: "Let's get her that #1 for the plot twist of the year. Download 'Not Such an Innocent Girl'. We are unhinged. Stream Posh. It's a national emergency. 🚨💅✨."

It seems to be working, and at the time of writing, chart tracker Kworb.net confirms "Not Such an Innocent Girl" is currently in second place on the iTunes UK charts.

Beckham has stiff competition from Ricci G & N.Jay's "Walk Away" which is currently in pole position, but as the campaign grows, it shows the immense power of social media.

Even more impressively, Beckham’s song has leaped to No. 1 in Ireland.

Back when "Not Such an Innocent Girl" was first released in 2001, it was the subject of a massive promotional campaign. Sadly, with it losing out to Kylie Minogue's "Can't Get You Out of My Head" and being outsold eight to one, the music gods decreed it wasn't meant to be.

Although Victoria is yet to address her son's explosive claims, she’s been active on social media to wish fellow Spice Girl Emma Bunton a happy birthday, as well as promoting Cruz Beckham's blossoming music career. The question is, has she noticed the campaign to get her to the top of the charts?
