Social media can catapult anyone into viral fame if they land the right moment, and few have experienced that more in recent years than the 'Hawk Tuah Girl' despite a number of controversies.

Hawk Tuah Girl, known also by her real name Haliey Welch, first went viral back in 2024 after appearing in a Tim & Dee TV video on TikTok, where she came up with her recognizable catchphrase after being asked to name a move that 'makes a man go crazy' in bed.

Welch was quick to capitalize on this sudden rise to fame, posting frequently on social media and even starting her own podcast, appropriately named 'Talk Tuah', but things went sour quickly following a major controversy.

She disappeared from social media in December 2024 after a cryptocurrency meme coin branded in her name ($HAWK) was accused of being a rug pull by those who invested in it, returning only three months later once the dust had settled.

She's left many of her remaining fans enraged following a recent pivot, however, with some even claiming that she's 'sold out' after launching an exclusive profile on a paid-only site.

"The hawk tuah girl has officially sold out," wrote one user on X, arguing that "we all saw it coming." The post was accompanied by images shared on Welch's Instagram story, advertising a new profile on Fanfix.

If you've not heard of it before, Fanfix is a content monetization platform for social media creators offering a similar pathway to revenue to OnlyFans, only without the saucy content.

Fanfix has a strict 'no-nudity' policy, blocking any explicit content from being shared on the site, and it also requires creators to have at least 10,000 followers across their social media accounts to qualify for a profile on the site.

Welch's account currently has three different subscription tiers, with fans able to pay $9.99, $15, or $100 per month to view content on her profile and exchange messages with her.

For example, the $9.99 tier is only allows you to exchange 25 messages per month with Welch, whereas the $100 tier removes all limits, provides a 'first look' at all new content, and even provides one-to-one sessions with Welch herself.

"Hey y'all!!!! I'm real glad to be on Fanfix," Welch wrote in her first post. "I'm sharing everything about my life, providing day-to-day support & dating advice and chattiung it up in the DMs to really get to know ya."

It appears that many of the posts shared on her account are on the 'spicier' side, however, with captions suggesting photos that are veering perhaps as close to explicit as Fanfix's rules will allow.
