An insane simulation shows the crazy impact of eating a certain popular superfood everyday has on your body.
While health gurus have taken over social media, posting their idyllic daily routines online, it turns out some foods can have a serious impact on the human body.
And one video unpacks just what happens inside your body when you eat chia seeds every single day.
On YouTube, a video posted by 5 Minute Fitness explains why chia seeds are good for you, detailing how it’s been proven to have benefits for your heart, gut health, and even sleep.
In the video, it said: “Chia seeds can also improve sleep. Chia seeds are naturally rich in tryptophan, an amino acid that plays a key role in the synthesis of melatonin.

“Chia seeds also strengthen teeth and bones. They are an important source of nutrients that contribute to healthy teeth and bones, and the calcium in them also helps to prevent tooth decay.
“Chia seeds can also help to freshen your breath. They have antibacterial properties that not only freshen breath but also treat canker sores.”
It turns out chia seeds can do unbelievable things for your body and mind if you have the consistency to enjoy them on a regular basis, and frankly, it seems far easier than completely giving up sugar.
You can pick up a big pack of chia seeds from most supermarkets for as cheap as $4 and adding them to your cart might well prove to be life-changing.
While celebrities are turning to the likes of Ozempic and Mounjaro to help them achieve their weight loss goals, chia seeds could be a far more affordable and natural answer, without any of the nasty side effects associated with the GLP-1 medications.

Chia seeds are rich in fibre and protein, which may help to prevent obesity and reduce appetite and food intake.
The soluble fibre combines with the water in the stomach to form a gel which also helps to slow down the digestion process and also ease any constipation symptoms.
I'm not going to recommend adding chia seeds into absolutely everything you eat, as they’re unlikely to pair well with pizza or sandwiches.

But, they’re typically sprinkled onto plenty of breakfast foods, including yoghurt, cereals and smoothies, or perhaps with some peanut butter and banana on toast. Yum.
If you fancy being healthy while you're eating something typically unhealthy, then it's also worth adding them to your next chocolate pudding. It’s a win win.
