Fans are losing it after famous biohacker Bryan Johnson posted a bizarre picture to celebrate his 48th birthday.

The venture capitalist has become known for his bid to ‘live forever’, spending around $2 million a year in treatment to de-age himself as he attempts to turn back his biological clock.

The dad-of-three has made a name for himself for being obsessed with halting the aging process and was even receiving blood transfusions from his son in an attempt to have the youngest possible biological age.

Johnson previously shocked the public by revealing a new course of treatment in a post on X, formerly Twitter.

In the tweet, Johnson wrote: “I am no longer injecting my son’s blood. I’ve upgraded to something else: total plasma exchange.”

The tech millionaire also shared the steps he was taking, saying: “1. Take out all blood from body. 2. Separate plasma from blood. 3. Replace plasma with 5% albumin & IVIG.”

In a photo, Johnson can be seen holding a large plastic bag, adding: “Here’s my bag of plasma. Who wants it?”

However, it seems like just when the 48 year old couldn’t surprise us any more, he shared a post to celebrate his birthday that has left the internet in shock.

In a tweet, he wrote: “it’s my birthday tomorrow.”

Along with the caption, Johnson posted a photo of him holding a bottle of beer and a cigarette, something that is very off-brand for the health fanatic.

Many people took to social media to share their own reactions to the post, with one user writing:

“BRYAN NOOOOO.”

Another said: “Have you ever tested the longevity effects of retoxing?”

A third person commented: “Go off king you deserve it.”

And a fourth added: “Funniest post of all time. Are you serious.”

It’s not clear whether Johnson actually did drink the alcohol or smoke the cigarette - although it wouldn’t be good for his bid to live forever as one cigarette is estimated to reduce your life expectancy by about 11 minutes, according to health studies.

But maybe Johnson has some minutes to spare as, according to his YouTube video titled ‘My $16/Day Diet to Live to 200+’, the millionaire is now aging at a rate of 0.64.

This means that Johnson is only aging by 7.6 months for every 12 months in the year.

Johnson reckons that this will enable him to live to a world record breaking age of 200.
