The new Trump mobile has been slammed as a ‘scam’ after the public have realized where they’re really being made.

It seems like the Trump family are now taking on the iPhone after it was announced that the ‘Trump Mobile’ and the ‘T1 Phone’ are expected to be dropped.

The First Family has branded the phone as being the mobile solution for ‘real Americans’, although people were left shocked when they uncovered the price.

The T1 Phone will set customers back by $499, which is significantly lower than industry giants including Apple and Samsung.

The device is run on the Trump Mobile network and its ‘47 Plan’, where the monthly cost will be set at $47.45.

This is in reference to Trump’s stints as both the 45th and 47th president of the US.

However, people aren’t too happy about the new device after they discovered where the product is being made.

Taking to social media to share their thoughts, one user wrote on X, formerly Twitter: “Trump is selling a repackaged $172 Chinese phone for $500 AND it's not even made in the USA. Whoever falls for this scam is a straight up clown.”

Another said: “Eric Trump: ‘Eventually all the Trump phones will be built in the USA’. Translation: They’re not built in America. And there’s no real plan to change that anytime soon.”

A third person commented: “Holy s***. Eric Trump says ‘eventually’ the phones under the new Trump Mobile brand will be made in the USA. That means right now, they will be made overseas. Unreal.”

And a fourth added: “Does it not bother his supporters that he is actively trying to scam them? Like, even if I liked Trump politically this would piss me off.”

What is Trump Mobile and the T1 Phone?

As reported by the Independent, the Trump Organization - which is now run by the president’s eldest sons, Donald Jr. and Eric - has announced an all-American-made Trump-branded ‘T1 Phone’, alongside its own bespoke network named ‘Trump Mobile’.

The gold-finished device has a similar visual design to that of the iPhone.

Donald Trump Jr. said: “Trump Mobile is going to change the game, we’re building on the movement to put America first, and we will deliver the highest levels of quality and service.”

The president’s son added that ‘our company is based right here in the United States because we know it's what our customers want and deserve’.
