A woman has revealed a must-know Gmail feature that lets you unsubscribe from email lists easily.

Taking to TikTok, the Gmail user shared her simple tip that will save you time and help to limit the amount of marketing emails you receive.

The video has now been seen over a million times after Tiffany Rasmussen shed some light on the little-known email hack.

Posting on her TikTok page, @wordstolivebygal, Tiffany explained to her viewers how they can manage their subscriptions more easily.

Addressing her audience, Tiffany asked: “Am I the only one who didn’t know this new feature in Gmail?”

Showing her Gmail account on the screen, she went on to saying: “So, on my inbox, I went down to ‘more’.”

The ‘more’ option can be found in the left-hand menu and by clicking on it, Tiffany showed how it brought up an option labeled ‘manage subscriptions’.

From there, the TikToker could view a list of all of her email subscriptions.

She continued: “Here’s all my subscriptions and an easy way to unsubscribe. Genius.”

The video went viral, with many people taking to the comment section to share their own thoughts and reactions.

Some users were over the moon with the update, with one user saying: “I get 2k emails A DAY. And it takes forever to unsubscribe one by one so this may have saved my life.”

Another wrote: “Thank you for sharing I had no idea!! I need to clean out my email soooo bad!!”

And a third person said: “The best thing I have seen. Thank you!”

Others struggled to figure out the feature, with one user writing: “I DONT SEE THIS UGH.”

And another added: “I got so excited but it doesn’t show up for me.”

This prompted a reply from Tiffany, who said: “It says the feature is rolling out so hopefully you get it soon!”

Earlier this year, an article from Piunikaweb revealed that the feature would soon be released to the public.

The article explained that the new feature was designed in order to list all of the user’s email subscriptions in one spot.

The rollout seems to still be ongoing but Tiffany shared a tip on how to fix what might be keeping you from accessing it.

Offering her advice to someone who was struggling to find the feature, she wrote: “Is your chrome updated? I feel like it’s a recent update.”
