A new leak has revealed an exciting battery upgrade that insiders are expecting to be brought to Samsung’s next smartwatch.
And that isn’t the only addition coming to the latest Galaxy Watch as the tech giant has unveiled new AI capabilities.
With artificial intelligence becoming an increasingly prominent part of daily life in the tech world, companies are working fast to expand their AI offerings - and Samsung is no different.
The firm announced that its new Galaxy Watch will play ‘a critical role as a health-first, always-on gateway for advanced, personalised AI’, with new internal components and an enhanced battery life to track your health for longer.

In a press release, Samsung wrote: “Galaxy Watch has always understood us in ways we can’t always see - tracking how we rest, move and sleep. Now enhanced with intelligent, AI-driven insights, it is evolving to help us better understand and proactively manage our health in real time.”
Next week, Samsung is expected to unveil its Galaxy Watch 9 and Galaxy Watch Ultra 2 and its Unpacked event, but early leaks have already revealed some of what consumers can expect.
The smartwatch is reported to have improved battery life rumored to be 800-mAh, making it the largest battery within Wear OS.
This means it could end up having a battery life of over two days before it needs charging, according to CNET.
With it set to possibly have a Snapdragon Wear Elite processor, the battery life of this model could actually be closer to three days on a single charge.
AI will also be used to offer up new health features and more improved health tracking abilities.
This includes the likes of a heart health score, vitals information, and a fitness index.
The tech giant previously revealed that it would be implementing a new Flex Titanium technology to provide ‘reduced crease visibility’ for its foldable devices.
Part of the firm’s decision to rethink its foldable devices comes down to consumer feedback, in particular, the issue of a visible crease in the screen.
