Jake Paul's unexpected next opponent has left UFC commentator Joe Rogan in shock, as he's issued a stern warning for the YouTuber-turned-boxer ahead of his upcoming fight against a former world heavyweight champion.
While many people have expressed their anger at how the boxing world has changed over the last few years, its undeniable that former YouTube and Vine sensation Jake Paul has shaken up the sport.
One of the biggest criticisms thrown at him since he first stepped into the ring relates to the competition that he chooses, as it's often exclusively individuals coming in from other sports, or long-retired legends that are well past their prime.
This was seemingly capped off with his 'blockbuster' fight against then 58-year-old Mike Tyson last November, where the bout was so bad some even thought it might have been scripted.

You certainly can't criticise the credentials of Paul's next opponent though, and that has led one combat sports expert to send 'The Problem Child' a warning before he steps into the ring.
As reported by the Daily Mail, UFC color commentator and podcast sensation Joe Rogan has shared his own thoughts on Paul's upcoming exhibition fight against two-time world heavyweight champion Anthony Joshua, asserting that the YouTuber will be "f***ed" if his opponent lands a punch.
"Realistically, it's one of the craziest propositions of all time," Rogan expressed on his podcast. "You take a guy who just had a boxing match that looked like a sparring match with a 58-year-old Mike Tyson, and then you're gonna fight one of the absolute scariest knockout artists in the heavyweight division?"
Joshua has won 28 of the 32 fights he's competed in throughout his career, with 25 of those victories coming via knockout, and he even picked up two heavyweight titles in the process beating Charles Martin in 2016 and Andy Ruiz Jr. in 2019.
He did lose his last fight against IBF champion Daniel Dubois, being knocked out in the fifth round, but Joshua is still an extremely accomplished fighter and remains actively one of the best in the world, marking Paul's most significant challenge to date.

"He's gonna be terrifying, and he's gonna have a lot to prove," Rogan said of Joshua, adding that "he's gonna be very angry that Jake Paul wants to fight him, very upset that this YouTuber who's fought Tommy Fury, who's a legit boxer, and a couple of other guys who are legit boxers [wants to fight him]."
Rogan continued to assert that Joshua "is a giant Olympic gold medallist heavyweight. I mean, Anthony Joshua is f***ing terrifying. He's got that one punch nuclear power, one punch, and he's fast."
It seems like all signs point to Paul almost definitely being in over his head when that bell rings, but who know whether the former YouTuber will be able to pull out an incredible upset that could finally legitimize him in the eyes of some in the boxing world.
