Joe Rogan has made a shocking admission in a debate over the origins of the universe in his latest podcast.
Recording for the Joe Rogan Experience podcast, Rogan questioned the validity of the Big Bang theory.
He shocked listeners by going as far as to say that the resurrection of Jesus after his crucifixion is more believable.

Interviewing TikToker Cody Tucker, Rogan went on to say that he doesn’t buy into the Big Bang Theory.
He added: “I’m sticking with Jesus. Jesus makes more sense. People have come back to life.”
The podcaster went on to mention author and psychedelic advocate Terence McKenna, adding: “That’s McKenna’s great line… the difference between science and religion is that science only asks you to believe in one miracle - the Big Bang.”
Rogan has gone back and forth in the past about his views on religion, saying that he switches between between a believer and a non-believer due to a difficult upbringing.

He previously revealed that he is ‘pretty atheist’ but had started to become spiritual after his grandfather died.
The conversation about the origins of the universe began after a comment was made by Tucker who said: “I don’t like, the like, space. I leave that alone. I don’t know. Space. Because also, like, what happened before? Oh, yeah. And then what happened before that?”
Tucker went on to question: “Then who made all that? Is there a God? Did God make this?”
In response, Rogan added: “Is God the universe?”

The podcaster went on to say: “It’s funny because people will be incredulous about the resurrection of Jesus Christ but yet they're convinced that the entire universe was smaller than a head of a pin and that for no reason that anyone has adequately explained to me, instantaneously became everything? Okay.”
The topic of religion also came up in a different episode where Rogan interviewed musician Kid Rock.
When Rogan asked him where he would go if he could travel back in time to anywhere, Rock replied: “Jesus.”

Rogan went on to ask Rock if he truly believed that Jesus would be there.
In response, Rock said: “Absolutely. 1000%.”
Rogan continued: “I think the concept of Jesus is absolutely amazing, and if Jesus came here and wanted to visit me, I would be psyched.”
The podcaster said that he is ‘very interested in the idea of Jesus being a real person’, however, he also noted that ‘I want Bigfoot to be real, just like I want Jesus to be real’.
