
Horrifying Ring doorbell footage has gone viral as it shows students fleeing from a Colorado school shooting.
The harrowing clip captures the moment a group of children run past the home, frantically pressing the doorbell as they go.
Gunfire broke out at Evergreen High School at around 12.24 pm local time yesterday (September 10), according to officials.
The suspect was armed with a revolver handgun, according to the sheriff’s office.

Three students were hospitalized as a result of the ordeal and have been said to be in critical condition. A fourth student was later taken to hospital.
The governor of Colorado, Jared Polis, shared that he was ‘devastated’ by the news.
He added: “My heart goes out to the victims and their families as they grapple with this senseless act of violence.”
The school was subsequently placed under lockdown while officials entered the campus.

At a news conference, Jacki Kelley, who is a spokesperson for the Jefferson County sheriff, said: “This is the scariest thing you'd think could ever happen.”
Kelley said she was unable to give any details about the suspected shooter, including what the suspect's age or gender is.
She added: “I don't know if our suspect is even old enough to drive.”
However, she did reveal that the authorities were seeking a search warrant for the student’s locker and their home.

Kash Patel, who is the FBI Director, shared that the the FBI was ‘aware on the tragic situation unfolding near Denver’, and that officials were giving their ‘full support of local authorities to ensure everyone's safety’.
It was later confirmed that the shooter had died by a self inflicted gunshot wound.
Many people took to social media to share their horror over the events, with one user writing on X, formerly Twitter: “Why the f*** has this s*** become so normal.”
And another added: “Oh my lord these poor kids.”

Another fatal shooting took place that same day in Utah when political commentator Charlie Kirk was shot in the neck while on stage during his ‘American Comeback’ tour.
Appearing at Utah Valley University (UVU) to a crowd of around 3,000 people, Kirk was asked by an audience member: “Do you know how many mass shooters there have been in America over the last ten years?”
Kirk replied: “Counting or not counting gang violence?”

A shot could be heard immediately after and videos captured the political pundit falling from his seat after being struck in his neck.
It was later confirmed that Kirk had died from his injuries sustained in the gunshot wound.
