Donald Trump mercilessly mocked for hilarious reason after cameras expose his phone's lock screen

X users wasted no time roasting the US President

Donald Trump is being mocked online after his phone lock screen went viral.

President Trump is already facing backlash from one of his most prominent former ally, Elon Musk, following the tech mogul’s abrupt departure from the White House.

Political tension continues to rise over Trump's recently passed bill that will raise the debt limit by more than $4 trillion over the next two years and increase defence spending. The President's signature bill was passed by the House of Representatives last month but was met with heavy criticism from the former head of DOGE.

Musk called the bill a 'disgusting abomination' before threatening to 'fire' those who supported it.

"I’m sorry, but I just can’t stand it anymore," Musk wrote yesterday (3 June) on X. "This massive, outrageous, pork-filled Congressional spending bill is a disgusting abomination.

"Shame on those who voted for it: you know you did wrong. You know it."

In the meantime, users online have found something more trivial to roast the president for.

Last Friday (30 May), Trump was photographed waving to reporters while stepping off Air Force One with his phone lock screen fully visible to the cameras.

Also visible was a text message from Roger Stone, a long-time Trump advisor who received a presidential pardon during Trump's first term.

Eagle-eyed viewers zoomed in to find that his phone wallpaper features none other than Trump himself.

The lock screen shows Trump in his signature pose, pointing straight ahead. Internet sleuths reportedly traced the image back to 2019, when he was initially in office.

Naturally, social media users on X (formerly Twitter) had a lot to say about the 'on-brand' move from the president.

"The most on-brand thing that ever on-branded. Trump's lock screen is, of course, a picture of Trump," one user wrote.

“Trump’s lock screen was spotted on his phone last night—and it was a photo of himself. Is that not one of the most narcissistic, self-absorbed things you’ve ever seen??? Not his family, not his kids, but himself. Wtf…,” political commentator Harry Sisson wrote on X.

"Trump having a photo of himself on his lock screen is the Trumpiest thing ever," another X user wrote.

And others shared the wallpaper's reflection on Trump's character.

“Trump actually has his own image as his phone's screen saver. What a narcissistic pathetic loser. Says so much,” added another X user.

The group Republicans Against Trump, wrote: “Donald Trump’s iPhone lock screen was spotted over the weekend. Yep, it’s a photo of himself. Of course it is.”
