Disturbing new texts from Tyler Robinson to his roommate have come to light and could suggest his true motive for killing Charlie Kirk.

Kirk was killed after being shot in the neck while on stage as part of his ‘American Comeback’ tour last Wednesday (September 10).

The right wing commentator was addressing a 3,000-strong crowd at Utah Valley University (UVU) when a single gunshot was heard and Kirk was struck in the neck.

It was later confirmed that he had died from his injuries sustained in the gunshot wound.

Following Kirk’s shooting, a manhunt was conducted by the FBI, which resulted in the arrest of 22 year old Tyler Robinson 33 hours later.

Since then, new information has been revealed, including text messages sent between Robinson and his roommate.

In one message, Robinson reportedly said: “Drop what you are doing, look under my keyboard.”

A note then read: “I had the opportunity to take out Charlie Kirk and I'm going to take it,” according to documents.

The roommate replied: “What?????????????? You're joking, right????”

In another exchange, Robinson wrote: “I am still ok my love, but am stuck in Orem for a little while longer yet. Shouldn’t be long until I can come home, but I gotta grab my rifle still. To be honest I had hoped to keep this secret till I died of old age. I am sorry to involve you.”

The roommate responded with: “You weren’t the one who did it right????”

Robinson replied: “I am, I’m sorry.”

The roommate said: “I thought they caught the person?”

Robinson said: “No, they grabbed some crazy old dude, then interrogated someone in similar clothing. I had planned to grab my rifle from my drop point shortly after, but most of that side of town got locked down. It’s quiet, almost enough to get out, but there’s one vehicle lingering.”

When the roommate asked Robinson why he had done it, the 22 year old wrote: “I had enough of his hatred. Some hate can’t be negotiated out. If I am able to grab my rifle unseen, I will have left no evidence. Going to attempt to retrieve it again, hopefully they have moved on. I haven’t seen anything about them finding it.”

In the exchange, Robinson revealed that he had been planning the shooting for a ‘bit over a week’.

The suspect went on to say: “Since trump got into office [my dad] has been pretty diehard MAGA.”

Robinson also added: “I’m gonna turn myself in willingly, one of my neighbors here is a deputy for the sheriff.”

Robinson first appeared in court yesterday, appearing virtually from Utah County Jail where he is currently being held.

During the hearing, prosecutors revealed that they will be seeking the death penalty in this case.
