Jeff Bezos' $165 million mansion was reportedly the subject of multiple police callouts over the weekend as the Amazon founder hosted Kris Jenner for her 70th birthday party celebrations, leaving his neighbors rather unhappy.
If you paid any attention to his extravagant wedding in Venice earlier this year you'll know that Jeff Bezos isn't reserved in the slightest when it comes to throwing together a celebratory event, and that even applies when it's somebody else's occasion too.
Kris Jenner was lucky enough to have one of Bezos mansions as the home of her 70th birthday bash on Saturday, with his $165 million Beverly Hills home hosting the event, but it didn't go as smoothly as everyone might have hoped.
The event itself saw mega celebrities such as Mariah Carey, Mark Zuckerberg, Prince Harry, Kim Kardashian, and countless others attend, but one unexpected guest was the Beverly Hills Police Department, who were called out on a number of occasions.

As reported by the Daily Mail, information obtained by TMZ indicates that nearby residents complained numerous times throughout the course of the night of loud music and people, which was in part due to a live performance by Bruno Mars which was, as described by attendees, 'off the charts'.
Unlike most places across the country, noise complaints are actually taken seriously under California law, so even those as rich as Bezos still have to comply if enough of a ruckus is made after 10 p.m.
Additionally, police noticed on a subsequent visit to the property that large decorative hedges had been placed around the outside of the house in order to block off the roads, and the necessary permit to do this had not been obtained.

These hedges were removed later on in the night when several of the roughly 300 party guests were leaving, but it seems like even the police couldn't do much to stop the celebrations here.
Some on social media have pointed out the disparity between Bezos' lavish displays of wealth and the immense charitable contributions of his ex-wife MacKenzie Scott, especially after she recent donated to a number of HCBUs, including a record $19 million gift to Voorhees University, as per WACH.
This isn't the first time that Bezos has left his neighbors dissatisfied either, as those surrounding his $37.5 million Seattle estate were frustrated that the Amazon founder didn't feel part of the community, especially when it came to their regular Cleanup Day events that take care of the nearby nature.
