A brand new smartphone has an insane camera and groundbreaking AI features but you’ve probably never heard of it.

Earlier last year, iPhone users rejoiced at the Apple announcement of the iPhone 16, which would see the introduction of Apple Intelligence.

But there is a new smartphone on the market that is expected to give the tech giant a run for its money.

The new Magic 7 Pro, created by Chinese phone maker Honor, is available to buy now and comes with a lot of exciting features that could change the way you use your phone forever.

Here are some its groundbreaking features:

Super zoom

The device has a 100x super zoom assisted by AI for anything zoomed in 30x or above.

The artificial intelligence assists the camera in creating a clearer image from far away.

According to Honor, the camera also has AI Motion Sensing Capture, where ‘users can capture precious moments with exceptional clarity. Additionally, HD Super Burst allows users to freeze high-speed action sequences with precision at 10 frames per second, ensuring that every movement is precisely captured in every single shot’.

Deep fake detection

One particularly impressive feature is the phone’s ability to detect when an image or video isn’t real and is instead a deep fake.

This feature uses AI that is trained through a large dataset of videos and images in order to examine the media on your phone frame-by-frame.

If the device detects a deep fake, it will alert you at the top of your screen with a message that reads: “Suspected AI face swap detected.”

PC-level graphics

The versatile phone also boasts PC-level graphics when it comes to gaming and has nearly full-frame gameplay.

In a release, the tech firm explained that this will allow its users to ‘enjoy an unparalleled and responsive gaming experience’.

It goes on to say that the phone features the first AI Predictive Scheduling Engine, which uses ‘AI scene prediction and precise frame rate recognition for optimal system management, ensuring industry-leading frame rate stability with fluctuations below 0.2’.

Not only that, but when it comes to gaming the Honor Magic 7 Pro has a stereo speaker with an ‘integrated ultra-large sound cavity and spatial audio’.

This is enhanced by a bass enhancement algorithm to deliver a powerful and resonant bass for a richer audio experience.

The Honor Magic 7 Pro is available to buy now for £1,099.99 ($1,346).
