Google has released a ‘flawless’ AI feature that you are able to download for free on iOS and Android.

This comes after the tech giant transformed Gemini into an AI operating system.

Gemini Live is now available for free download on Android and iOS where you can ‘point your phone at anything and talk it through’.

All you have to do is turn on your camera, point at anything and you can talk to Gemini about it in real time.

From there, you should be able to have a tailored conversation with Gemini about anything you are looking at, around you or on your screen.

It also has the ability to integrate itself with your Maps app as well as Calendar and Tasks in order to help with planning, shopping or even fixing things in a smarter way.

So, what does Google hope to achieve with the new feature? According to the tech firm, there’s a lot to be excited about:

Chat naturally to the AI

On the Google website, it says: “Go Live to brainstorm out loud. Gemini adapts to your conversational style so you can change your mind mid-sentence, ask follow-up questions, and multi-task with ease.

“Need to interrupt or want to change the subject? Gemini Live can easily pivot in whatever direction you want to take the conversation.”

Gemini Live can assist with sparking your curiosity

Through the operating system, you’ll be able to unlock instant learning whenever inspiration strikes.

Google says this will be helpful ‘whether you're practicing your French for an upcoming trip, preparing for an interview, or looking for advice while shopping’.

So, if you want to refine your skills in a certain area or explore new topics, and even collaborate on ideas, Google hopes Gemini will be there to help.

The firm added: “Experience the convenience of having a helpful guide and creative partner at your fingertips.”

Gemini Live lets you talk beyond text

The AI is able to use context in the conversations you have with it and ‘share what you're seeing, working on, or watching’.

Beyond being an AI assistance, Google has said that Gemini Live will be able to provide users with tailored assistance and offer insights.

Google added: “From understanding complex documents and photos you’ve taken, to sharing your camera to get step-by-step project guidance, Gemini is ready to dive into what you're seeing, creating richer, more dynamic conversations.”
