One of the biggest changes has just arrived for ChatGPT, as people are now able to engage in 'x-rated' acts with the chatbot, causing an outpouring of excitement from certain parts of the user base.
There has been a storm brewing in the artificial intelligence community recently following 'guardrails' put in place by ChatGPT creator OpenAI, leaving people with a restricted experience that has led to some cancelling their Pro subscriptions.
Contrastingly, other AI tools such as Elon Musk's Grok have allowed users to delve more into 'erotic' content, actively encouraging people to engage in saucier conversations that are supposedly for 'grown-ups'.
However, a new 'hotfix' released by OpenAI appears to address the issues that many had with the aforementioned restrictions, with the company now announcing that it'll allow for 'mature apps' on the platform after the age verification system is implemented.

This follows on from a change that was added around eight months ago, with the ModSpec reading that the company is "exploring how to let developers and users generate erotica and gore in age-appropriate contexts through the API and ChatGPT so long as our usage policies are met — while drawing a hard line against potentially harmful uses like sexual deepfakes and revenge porn."
This news has been met with excitement from large parts of the ChatGPT community, with one post on the r/ChatGPT subreddit proclaiming that "WE MADE IT YALL!!"

The post's description writes that "it looks like our days of complaints will soon be behind us and that OpenAI finally decided to listen to the people," accompanying that with a screenshot sharing news of the incoming changes.
While there are plenty of people that will be turning the heat up when talking to their AI – including the surprising number who have become romantically involved with the chatbot – many others have raised similar concerns surrounding the privacy of this change.
"Oh yay! I get to provide you with my ID so you can confirm and sell my kinds to adult websites," writes one comment sarcastically. "What a pleasure I'm in for."

Another echoed this sentiment, adding: "So they want a copy of my ID with personal identifiable information stored along with a list of all the kinky shit I'm into, just waiting to be sold, or compromised in a data breach. No thanks I'm good."
This isn't dissimilar to the ID-based age verification rules that have seen adult websites like Pornhub blocked in a number of major countries, but adding AI directly into the mix has many rightfully concerned.
Meta has already announced that it'll be using almost everything you discuss with its AI tools to provide you with personalized content and ads, so there's no reason why these saucy chats will be off the table if OpenAI were to disclose similar measures.
