iPhone users are just discovering a ‘life changing’ hidden feature that is ‘so simple but so useful’.

Many Apple fans have taken to social media to share their reactions to finding out about hidden tricks you can use to improve their user experience.

One iPhone user wrote on Reddit: “What iOS trick or hidden feature changed the way you use your iPhone? The iPhone has tons of hidden time-saving features. Which ones do you use and why are they indispensable?”

This prompted responses from others who weighed in with their own tricks that they like to use, with one person replying with: “Tapping the top of the screen to go back up to the top of an app / webpage.”

Another commented: “Such a simple one, but so useful!”

Others included their own favorite hacks, with one user saying: “I like the option when you screenshot a web page, click down on the screenshot, and you can open and save the whole page.”

A second wrote: “On maps, double tap and hold on the second tap, while holding, swipe up or down to zoom in and out. Sometimes it’s much easier than the pinch.”

And a third added: “When editing a photo you can make perfect triangles or squares or circles by drawing the shape and holding [it] when you connect the line.”

In other iPhone news, users have been left mindblown by a hidden setting that everyone has agreed is the ‘most underrated’ feature ever.

This comes after one user wrote on Reddit: “The anti-motion sickness dots!”

So, how does the feature work? According to Apple, it can help to ‘reduce motion sickness’ if you feel discomfort when using your iPhone while traveling as a passenger.

In order to do this, you’ll need to turn on Vehicle Motion Cues which are ‘onscreen cues that may help reduce motion sickness’.

On the Apple website, it said: “Vehicle Motion Cues appear as animated dots on the edges of the screen that represent how the vehicle is moving without interfering with what you’re doing on iPhone.”

In order to switch the feature on, head to Settings, followed by Accessibility and then Motion.

Click on Vehicle Motion Cues and select on either automatic or manual - which will either enable the feature automatic when it senses motion or to manual show or hide the feature.

It might be worth a try next time you’re feeling sick on a road trip!
