If you're an Apple fan, you might have been eagerly waiting for any hints or leaks on the latest iPhone 16 model release.

Not only that, you might have been patiently awaiting the color options of both the iPhone 16 Pro and iPhone 16 Pro Max, as opposed to the conventional white and black.

However, recent leaks on X suggest that Apple has dropped some of its unique colors.

The post, by ShrimpApplePro, reads: 'Well, according to the Weibo account, we will have a new color called Rose this year

The leak came from a Chinese site called Weibo and has since been shared by channels MacRumors and @VNchocoTaco, who claim that the iPhone 16 range will be sold in Space Black, White, Gray, and Rose shades. You can check out the post here.

iPhone fans might also be disappointed to hear that the popular colour of Titanium Blue, which was on the iPhone 15 Pro, is now being replaced by Rose.

By the looks of the photo on the viral post, the colour looks to be more of a rose gold than a pink.

Apple appears to be keeping its black and white options that were seen in the previous iPhone 15 Pro. However, the white shade looks more silvery, whilst the Space Black looks to be very similar to that on the iPhone 14 Pro. Meanwhile, the grey shade is more a take on Natural Titanium than a bleak grey tone.

Bold moves like this from the tech giant is causing quite a stir in the Apple community.

The top comment by ChrisisBatteryPowered reads: 'Will be nice if they keep the gray/black options around though.'

Some users aren't convinced by the new color, commenting: 'Doesn’t look like rose?'

Another X user replied: 'I hope its somewhat pink like a rose gold and not just gold or like a rosé gold type of color.'

Others are wondering 'How much more different is the rose from natural?'

Ultimately, these are just leaks that may or may not be legit. And there's still time to go before its release so fans can still hold out for some more interesting color options in the meantime.
