The Dynamic Island is a pill-shaped area on the top of the iPhone screen and is a hub for all vital alerts or to track your ongoing activity.

Notifications from open apps will appear there without interrupting what you’re doing on your device.

The handy tool offers things like shortcuts and controls without interrupting what you’re currently doing.

Through the controls, you can answer and end calls with one tap at the top of your screen.

With one held-down press, you can also access more information about an active app and also use app shortcuts to switch between different apps quickly.

The feature is also integrated with the device’s Control Center.
