Apple has finally introduced a new feature to their popular AirPods that users have been anticipating for years.
During the tech firm's 'Glowtime' event, a lot of major announcements are being made and one of them will introduce a huge change for AirPod fans.
It was revealed that AirPods 4 will feature a second model with Active Noise Cancellation.

Users have been reacting to the news on X, formerly Twitter, with one person saying: "Finally!"
Another said: "I was searching for such a amazing product."
A third person wrote: "Omg i might upgrade.."
And a fourth person added: "Wow, the new AirPods 4 with Active Noise Cancellation sound amazing! Can’t wait to try them out!"
Other new features of the latest AirPods include head motion to interact with Siri and a 30 hour battery.
They also come with a smaller case with USB-C, which people are very happy about.

AirPods 4 will set you back $129, whilst AirPods 4 with active noise cancelation will make it $179.
People seem to be very happy about this price point, and have taken to X to express their excitement.

Another chimed in to call the AirPods 'One of greatest products of Apple'.
Alongside their noise cancelation feature, there's also three important new health features:
- Hearing Protection
- Hearing Test
- Hearing Aid feature
Apple also introduced new colors on the AirPods Max, which will still start at $549.
These headphones are also receiving a USBC port update, which people are not too happy about.
From fan reaction online, it seems people were expecting a more dramatic change.
'THEY JUST PAINTED AIRPODS MAX ANOTHER COLOR AND PUT A NEW PORT ON IT??? AFTER 4 YEARS???' wrote one person on X.
Another expressed their disappointment by saying 'I'm literally so p***ed off about the AirPods Max. I can't focus on anything else.'
