Man puts four 10ft buggy wheels on a Tesla and drives it upside down

We're not sure why he decided to do this, but it's certainly entertaining.

Sometimes the world can be a dark and scary place, but then you see a silly post on the internet and it can really turn your day around.

Reddit has a bit of joy with one of the most outrageous Tesla-related videos we've ever seen - check it out here:

No, your eyes don't deceive you. Yes, that really is a white Tesla car that someone has customized in the most extraordinary way - by whipping off its regular wheels and popping on 10-foot buggy wheels in their place.

You know, the kind of wheels you see in old-timey movies, attached to horse-drawn carriages.

That's a weird enough sight in of itself, but even stranger still: the car actually drives. The Tesla is filmed absolutely zipping about, suspended in the air thanks to its insane wheels.

And then, for the video's pièce de résistance, the car is flipped upside down, and drives along upside down.

We've seen a lot of things in life, but we sure haven't seen a Tesla driving upside down on 10ft buggy wheels.

The clip is from a March 2023 YouTube video from car channel WhistlinDiesel. The aim of the video was simple: it wanted to see whether a Tesla could drive upside down.

The ultimate answer is: yes. But only if it has big enough wheels - which is why it was installed with those 10ft monstrosities.

The main problem the YouTuber encountered was actually getting into the car, as the new wheels meant the doors couldn't be opened the full way - he had to squeeze in through a small gap instead.

"It looks like the car is just floating," he says in the video - and we have to agree.

Flipping the car was no mean feat - it involved a crane and a whole lot of precision. When it was over, he could drive - but not exactly in comfort, as his head ended up jammed on the roof of the car.

It was later posted on the r/interestingasf**k subreddit (and you can see why), clocking up 78k votes.

And the top comment is an absolute corker, joking: "Pimp my ride: Amish edition."

While another thanked their lucky stars that there are plenty of people out there doing weird stuff and posting it online for our entertainment: "This is what the Internet is for. This is why I pay my bill."

While a third chimed in: "Ye olde Tesla."
