People are obsessed with the new Tesla ASS system and have said that it is one of the best features that they have ever seen.

It has been said to be a game changer for fans of the electric vehicle.

The system ASS stands for Actually Smart Summon and it’s a way for you to summon your car over to your location.

The tech firm uploaded a video onto their YouTube channel yesterday (October 22) where it unveiled exactly how ASS works.

The clip shows a Tesla car parked up in a space in a parking lot before being summoned by its owner using their phone.

The car then begins to reverse out of the spot autonomously and makes its way to where the owner is waiting.

In the description of the video, it says: “Actually Smart Summon enables your car to come to you from anywhere in the parking lot or to a location of your choosing. Summoning your Tesla makes loading up easier and keeps you dry in the rain.

“Actually Smart Summon is designed and intended for use only on parking lots and driveways located on private property where the surrounding area is familiar and predictable. Do not use on public roads.”

No more searching through busy car parks because you can’t remember where you’ve parked the car, ASS means that the vehicle will come to you.

Many viewers took to the YouTube comment section to react to the new feature.

One user wrote: “Used it on mine, it's a new experience to see a Tesla move with no one in it. The white seats really make it obvious that it's empty.”

This prompted a reply from someone who said: “It will be even funnier if you leave a giant teddy bear in the driver seat.”

A third person wrote: “We have a tight garage, and use ASS to have the car pull out or drive back in. It performs perfectly, even folding the mirrors automatically. Amazing technology.”

And a fourth added: “I used it several times now on my car..... Absolutely love it. Zero mistakes.”

However, some people were struggling to move past the name of the system, with one user writing: “Elon for sure named this.”

Another said: “Elon knew what he was doing when he named it ASS.”

And one person had their own idea for a new system, suggesting: “Tesla Intelligent Tracking System (TITS).”
