One YouTuber has learnt the hard way that there's a fine line when it comes to 'pranks', as he now faces 'jail hell' in the Philippines after videos detail the 'harassment and disrespect' he enacted against local residents.

Streamers and YouTube stars aren't exactly known for their rational and sensible decision making skills, as clips of creators running red lights and taking advantage of homeless people have gone viral alongside major criticism from audiences.

They always say that there's no such thing as bad press, and many social media creators use this to their advantage by undertaking ever-increasingly bold stunts in order to get there name out there, but it does reach a point when things can spiral out of control.

It was only recently that controversial streamer 'Johnny Somali' faced trouble with South Korean authorities who landed the YouTuber with 10 years in prison after engaging in anti-social behavior, and a similar incident has occurred once more with another creator.

Russian-American streamer Vitaly Zdorovetskiy has made a name for himself through increasingly outlandish pranks over the past decade, yet he's now found himself in trouble with the police in the Philippines after harassing citizens while live on Kick.

He now faces 'jail hell' for up to three years prior to his trial, subjected to temperates of 97°F in a crowded cell, and experts speculate that he'll likely get a minimum sentence of five years as authorities simply need to prove that he did the act instead of his intent - which Vitaly made easy through the live streams.

But what did Vitaly actually do? As indicated, the main reason behind his arrest sources from his harassment of local residents, which is shown through a video shared by DramaAlert on X.

Vitaly is seen in the video threatening to rob passing individuals, before 'pranking' security guards by stealing their hat. Overall, Vitaly has been charged with Unjust Vexation, Cybercrimes, and Alarm & Scandal, and it is alleged that there are also videos of him driving a car without a license, which he then used to run over the foot of a pedestrian and crash into another parked vehicle.

Additionally, fellow YouTuber Atozy has shared numerous clips of Vitaly's antics while criticizing the streamer's actions. He's seen attempting to steal a police officer's motorbike, alongside running out of a shop with an expensive face mask.

Many across the livestreaming community appear to be reveling in the supposed hubris of Vitaly's current situation, as comments flood threads on the popular r/LivestreamFail subreddit that seemingly experience simultaneous schadenfreude.

"I really really wanna see how these smug nuisance streamers fare in Filipino prison," one commenter details, whereas another adds that Vitaly is "literally no better than Johnny Somali's dumb ass. Glad he got arrested."
