MrBeast posts new photo and everyone is noticing the same 'creepy' detail

He was teasing his ‘biggest video ever’ coming soon

MrBeast’s new Instagram photo shows him with two big names, but everybody can’t get past the same ‘creepy’ detail in his face.

Jimmy “MrBeast” Donaldson has certainly been under a lot of attention in recent months with a few controversies under his belt, but the most subscribed to YouTuber in the world has been the subject of a rather strange strange facial focus from the internet community.

Donaldson's recent Instagram post featuring fellow content creators Darren “iShowSpeed” Watkins Junior and ‘World’s Fastest Man’ Noah Lyles highlighted what MrBeast claims to be his 'biggest video ever', showing the latter two racing for $100k.

We already know that the professional sprinter Lyles did prevail in the 50m sprint (as expected!), and Watkins will have to change his name to 'IShowSlow' for the next 24 hours, but it's the race's referee - in particular his smile - that has drawn the most attention.

A post on r/youtube from user u/katteelsker1 titled "Genuinely the creepiest smile yet" makes clear the concern that people have with MrBeast's otherwise innocent grin.

Many are in clear agreement too, with the post receiving 683 upvotes and 76 comments at the time of writing.

While MrBeast's pearly whites unmistakably take the shape of a smile, the issue many have appear to be within his eyes, with some claiming that they're 'lifeless' and that he's unable to smile with his whole face.

One commenter remarks that "his smile doesn't transfer to his eyes," going on to argue that if you cover the faces of the three people in the photo below the nose, "they all have smiling eyes except for jimmy beast."

Some people aren't quite as 'kind' as that top comment though, with claims ranging from him looking "like he's dying on the inside" or even that "he doesn't have a soul anymore."

This certainly isn't a new talking point with MrBeast though, as people have noticed his rather 'unnatural' beam for a couple of years now.

One post on X (formerly Twitter) dating back to May 2023, denotes Donaldson's 'inability' to fake a smile as the reason why MrBeast is "so offputting," claiming that "we need Tyra Banks in the mix to teach this guy how to smize."

While it's unlikely that we'll see Jimmy take to the runway as America's Next Top Model, it might be something he'll want to consider working on to weather the negative storm that's come his way in recent weeks.

Or not actually - he is still the most subscribed YouTuber by some considerable margin after all!
