MrBeast has issued an official apology for some of his recent uploads as he made a promise for 2026.
MrBeast, whose real name is Jimmy Donaldson, is known for his over-the-top competitions with huge cash prizes up for grabs.
His online antics has earned him the title of most subscribed channel with over 300 million followers on YouTube.
Now, Donaldson has announced that he will be moving away from his video formula to focus on a new style of content.

Back in September, he told a fan that there would be ‘less screaming, slower, more story, emotion’ and now the YouTuber has promised that next year, he will ‘take stuff to a whole new level’.
In a post to X, formerly Twitter, on Wednesday (November 26), Donaldson said: “After some reflection, I just want to say I think some of our newer YouTube videos haven’t been as good as I wanted. I apologize.

“Ya boy is going to go into ultra grind mode and make the greatest content of my life in 2026. Promise.”
This prompted a response from others in the comment section, with one user writing: “I think it’s just ‘too optimized for retention’. Like I clicked on the latest video about Ai vs humans because I was genuinely intrigued, clicked off after 3 mins.
“It was just too intense, loud, explosive, camera angles, maybe I’m just getting older lol but it was giving me a headache.”

Another said: “My favorite videos are the BIG competitions with 100s of people, def just my opinion but i think you do those the best.”
A third person commented: “Pushing yourself too hard might not be the way fam, you're doing good. Just focus on helping others like you have been but also try to have fun and you'll be dropping kino soon.”
And a fourth added: “I often think, why rush, you have a captive audience, and the topic is interesting, slow down, tell the story, you've clearly already spent the money.
“You should aim to try and increase retention for a longer time on each video, try expand the attention span of humans. We used to be able to sit through 2.5hr movies. Aim for half of that.”

It is not yet clear exactly what the content creator means by taking things to a new level but the second season of his Amazon Prime series Beast Games is set to drop in the new year.
