Logan Paul is never too far away from a social media controversy, yet he's threatened people with legal action if they continue to spread 'false narratives' and call him associate him with one specific label.
Since rocketing to social media fame on Vine over a decade ago, Logan Paul has become one of the internet's most popular personalities — although that hasn't always resulted in a positive reputation across that time.
While he's tried his hand at boxing, stepped into the world of WWE, and even has plans to face off against Tom Brady on the football field, many still associate Paul with some of his most controversial moments.
We're far removed from his distasteful antics in Aokigahara Forest, but one story that's dominated headlines surrounding Paul in recent years involves his entry into the world of cryptocurrency and NFTs.

He's far from the only online creator to face allegations of a 'rug pull' over the years but Paul's relationship with CryptoZoo has arguably gained the most attention, and has even spawned off into two separate legal cases.

As reported by the BBC, Paul began promoting CryptoZoo back in 2021 prompting many to invest their own money into the coin as its price rapidly increased.
What many have alleged, however, is that Paul failed to disclose his own financial interests in the cryptocurrency before promoting it, and instead profited off its price peak before mass sales cause it to crash in value.
This was also paired with a similar controversy surrounding a game of the same name, where the cryptocurrency-based blockchain project went dark after investors had poured their money into it.
Concerns surrounding this only increased when fellow YouTuber CoffeeZilla covered the alleged 'scam', and a lawsuit was filed against Paul in 2023 with similar accusations despite his offer to repay nearly $2 million to investors, as per Dexerto.
The 2023 lawsuit was eventually dismissed by courts, and Paul has since filed a legal challenge of his own against CoffeeZilla for his coverage of the controversy, although he admits that it is an 'uphill battle'.
Speaking to The Ice Coffee Hour podcast, Paul certainly didn't mince his words when addressing people who brand him a 'scammer', declaring:
"Any inclination that I'm a scammer, it is patently false. And, unfortunately, I'm in a position where the only way to prove that is in a courtroom, which I intend to do sooner rather than later, and I'm looking forward to it."
He added that "online, a lot of false narratives can be spun up, and unfortunately, people believe them [...] People can make tons of videos about you to enrich themselves and get attention.
"Bro, God bless you, get that bread, but when you lie over and over again, video after video, time and time again, and you know you're lying. Eventually, you may find yourself being held accountable in a court."
