The streamer wishes to team up with Musk for an outlandish idea

Streamer of the Year winner iShowSpeed has revealed in an interview that he's thinking of getting in touch with Elon Musk, as his content plans for the future have left him dreaming big.

YouTube sensation Darren "iShowSpeed" Watkins Jr. is known for his rather outlandish streams, as his social media stardom has taken him across the world, encountering a number of rather bizarre scenarios.

He's managed to race against the fastest man in the world, step into the octagon with a top UFC fighter, and so much more - but he has even bigger plans for the future that might involve one particular tech billionaire.

Huge content creators like MrBeast have already came in contact with Elon Musk at social events, but Speed is looking to connect with the SpaceX owner for one particular reason.

Streaming in every single country on Earth remains a primary goal for Watkins Jr. but he wishes to take things one step further and go live in space, which he revealed in an interview with Jon Youshaei.

"One day I wanna do a stream in space," he revealed, continuing on to state that he wants to "get in contact with Elon Musk, cause I wanna do streams where I'm like, on the plane [...] but Elon Musk has that right now, he has Starlink that can put on a plane and stuff."

That certainly would be further than anyone has managed to go for a livestream before, but if you'd think of anyone that could achieve it somehow, iShowSpeed would be one of the first names to come to mind.

While it'd be a stretch to get Speed to the Moon, for example, as that's something even NASA has struggled to recreate in the last 50 years, but there are indeed consumer space travel flights that you can pay to take if you've got the money.

Musk's SpaceX are indeed one of the few companies offering space tourism services, and you'd wonder if Starlink might be able to provide enough internet service to support a livestream on one of these flights.

Only Elon himself would truly be able to answer that question though, and it's up to iShowSpeed to see if he can make the connection a reality.

He might just need to stick to his countries project for now though, as that would certainly be enough of an achievement in the meantime before he makes the next step into outer space.
