Following the release of thousands of additional emails from files relating to Jeffrey Epstein, many are laser-focused on everything surrounding the convicted child sex offender, prompting one ominous prediction to resurface years later.

There have been countless shocking revelations over the past week surrounding the Epstein case, with a number of high profile names revealed to have had some form of connection with the disgraced financier.

Several mentions of Donald Trump were briefly present in the files before the Department of Justice ominously deleted them, and major figures in the tech industry like Bill Gates, Mark Zuckerberg, and Elon Musk were referenced to varying degrees in emails sent by Epstein.

While there remains plenty more that we still don't know as the files still haven't been fully released alongside countless redactions, it's clear that the information present within these documents could potentially threaten the status of some of the world's most powerful individuals.

That's why an eerie prediction from popular live streamer Hasan Piker has resurfaced nearly seven years later, as he issued a warning just days before Epstein's death in prison that many consider to be prophetic at this moment in time.

Posting on X on July 25, 2019 – just 16 days before Epstein allegedly hung himself in his jail cell – Hasan wrote: "Soooo we're all in agreement that we think someone's gonna kill Epstein before he gives up names right?"

The Twitch streamer then added that "any prison that doesn't put Epstein under 24/7 surveillance in solitary confinement right now is also responsible for him getting assassinated."

Authorities officially declared Epstein's death to be a suicide, yet conspiracies have continued to spiral and were only emboldened following the release of the 11-hour 'full raw' video of his prison cell on August 10, 2019.

Many have pointed out that the prediction shared by Hasan wasn't exactly a rare opinion at the time though, as many feared that Epstein's life was at risk due to the potentially damaging information he possessed.

"Basically everybody was saying that tbh," wrote one user in the replies on X, with another adding: "This wasn't a 'prediction' — it was a widely shared fear at the time. Many journalists, lawyers, and commentators warned that Epstein was a high-risk detainee who required strict monitoring.

"Pointing out obvious negligence isn't clairvoyance. The real story isn't who tweeted what, it's why safeguards failed so catastrophically — and who was to be responsible for that failure."

That remains the big question for many, as lots argue that there was a clear and obvious error in the safeguarding measures put in place around Epstein that allowed his death to occur — either by his own hands or by another.
