MrBeast's $10,000 response to woman who confessed real reason she follows him

What's $10,000 to him after all?

Money is central to MrBeast's brand to the point where most of his videos involve people competing for an outrageous cash reward, yet one TikTok user found out that it's sometimes easier than you'd expect to get a bank transfer from the YouTube sensation.

There are few bigger spenders across social media than Jimmy "MrBeast" Donaldson, as the most subscribed to YouTuber regularly gives away hundreds of thousands of dollars to people who participate in his videos.

He has recently rewarded people for chaining themselves to their ex, surviving for 100 days in a private jet, and was the subject of controversy after giving $500,000 to a man with the caveat that he had to escape from a burning building.

This led to some comparing him to Jigsaw from the Saw film franchise, but he does give away money every once in a while with no strings attached, as one TikTok user unexpectedly discovered.

As reported by Dexerto, one TikTok account under the name @jiafeis_left_puthylipfan went viral with a short video where she shared: "I lowkey only follow MrBeast just in case someone comes up to me and asks me if I follow him in case there is a reward."

This isn't out of the question when it comes to social media content these days, as sometimes all it takes is the act of following the right people to earn cash or other prizes, and there are fewer easier things you can do than add MrBeast to your following list.

The video itself quickly gained a lot of attention, earning 33.8 million views and 5.6 million likes less than a week after it was posted, and it even made its way onto the For You page of Donaldson himself, prompting a response.

MrBeast filmed a video just before he was about to jump on a plane, playing the aforementioned clip before adding his own reply to the reveal.

"I was just swiping through TikTok and I saw that, I'm about to board a plane," Donaldson remarked. "Check your DMs ma'am, I just sent you $10,000. I don't know, if you guys are following me for 10 grand just let me know."

It's unclear whether MrBeast has actually sent the money that he's said – although given the previous amounts that he's thrown around it wouldn't be out of the question – and the original account is still yet to post since Donaldson sent the money.

Predictably, the comments underneath MrBeast's video are full of people fulfilling his request by asking for their very own $10,000, with some even going as far to ask for double that figure just in case he bites.

Unfortunately for everyone else it'll likely be the case where it can only happen once and you'd need to go viral on your own to get a check from MrBeast, although there's no harm in trying after all.
