A YouTuber who crashed his car McLaren sports car has revealed how much money he’s racked up on his credit card in two weeks.

YouTuber Jack Doherty has been causing a stir online after live-streaming the moment he crashed his McLaren while driving fast down a rainy highway.

The broadcast clearly showed Doherty on his phone whilst he was driving before losing control and smashing into the barrier.

It was lucky there were no major injuries but the YouTuber has been heavily criticised for his reactions after the crash.

Rather than checking on his friend and fellow crash victim, Michael, right away, Doherty kept streaming the aftermath for his viewers.

Following the incident, the 20-year-old has been on TikTok Live begging his fans for donations and has also been banned on the streaming platform Kick for 'endangerment.'

Back last year, Doherty shared his spending on his American Express Business card in a tweet on X (formerly Twitter) which wasn't met without backlash.

"Talk s**t all u want, u wish u can spend this much on ur credit card in just 2 weeks," he tweeted on 3 December 2023.

The screenshot showed a total spend of $241,343.26 with a minimum payment of $94,677.24 due by 23 December.

The social media update drew hundreds of responses with numerous viewers roasting Doherty's antics.

"Posting what you spend on Amex is not a flex," one user commented.

"Jack, I'm in your corner, bro, but posting what you spend on Amex is not a flex, every influencer, including myself, can post screenshots of our Amex statements but most would never have to feel like we need to prove something by irresponsibly spending a quarter of a million dollars," professional American football player Chase DeMoor added.

Others chimed in with remarks like: "mans really tried to flex debt i give up," "Fair enough damn..." and "I just don't care".

Later that day, the internet personality shared an update on his tweet revealing that he had paid off the over $200k debt.

In a separate post, several X users stated the content creator should ‘be in jail’ for his actions.

One of his most careless actions was driving whilst using his mobile phone, as shown at the beginning of the clipped video.
