Viewers watching Charlie Kirk’s memorial have all spotted the same disturbing detail on stage.
The political commentator died earlier this month (September 10) after he was shot in the neck and killed while on stage at Utah Valley University (UVU).
Kirk was addressing a 3,000-strong crowd as part of his ‘American Comeback’ tour at various university campuses across the US when he was killed by the gunshot.
An FBI manhunt ensued and 22 year old Tyler Robinson was later arrested under suspicion of murder.

He made his first court appearance on Tuesday (September 16) via video link from Utah County Jail where he is currently being held, which is where he heard that prosecutors would be seeking the death penalty.

Now, Kirk’s funeral is currently underway at State Farm Stadium in Arizona where President Donald Trump is set to speak.
The funeral is also being live streamed for people around the world and is available to watch on Rumble, with the title: “Building A Legacy, Remembering Charlie Kirk.”

In the event description, which has over 100,000 online viewers at the time of writing, it reads: “Join Turning Point USA for a special memorial event, remembering our Founder and CEO, Charlie Kirk. Hear from President Donald J. Trump, Vice President JD Vance, Erika Kirk and more.”
However, many viewers tuning into the memorial have taken to social media after noticing the same detail on stage.
While musicians have been entertaining the crowd ahead of speakers set to take place from prominent political figures, there is a podium at the center of the stage.
Around this, it appears to be protected by bullet proof glass.

On X, formerly Twitter, one user wrote: "The podium at Charlie Kirk’s funeral is enclosed in bulletproof glass, something rarely seen at an indoor event.”
Another said: “Interior events do not normally use bullet proof glass, but at the Charlie Kirk memorial, security is next level.”
And a third person added: “The podium is thankfully enclosed by bullet proof glass for Charlie Kirk’s celebration of life. What have we become?”

Following Kirk’s death, Erika released a video addressing the ‘evildoers’ who are responsible for her husband’s death, claiming that they ‘should all know this: If you thought my husband’s mission was powerful before, you have no idea. You have no idea what you just have unleashed across this entire country, and this world’.
She added: “In a world filled with chaos, doubt and uncertainty, my husband’s voice will remain and it will ring out louder and more clearly than ever.”
