Some might not have heard of Susan Dell until recently, but in the aftermath of her October 7 meeting with President Donald Trump at the White House, it's fair to say she's broken the internet.
Unfortunately for Michael and Susan Dell, their philanthropic work and promise to pledge $6.25 billion to add $250 to the accounts of 25 million Americans under the age of 18 has been overshadowed.
There were already awkward scenes when Donald Trump said he'd support Susan Dell if she ever wanted to run for office, and we've got to admit that her empowered speech about how children are the future hit all the right notes.

That message was somewhat lost as the internet seemed obsessed with Susan Dell's looks and accusations that the 62-year-old had undergone cosmetic surgery. As well as sharing 'before and after' pictures of what she looked like years ago, some claimed her look was proof we're in a simulation, and the memes soon flowed in as she was compared to everything from the Evil Queen in Snow White and the Seven Dwarves to the female alien from Mars Attacks!.
Elsewhere, faked screenshots showed Susan Dell pleading with Meta to take down these kinds of posts, and another faked screenshot where she appeared to ask New York Comic Con to ban people cosplaying as her.
Fact-checkers quickly debunked these posts, but even days after the Dells tried to get their message across in the Oval Office, Susan is still the subject of ridicule.
After already defending the Trump Accounts stock rule, Michael Dell seems to have finally addressed the online discourse about his wife.
While the computing billionaire hasn't spoken out about those who are mocking Susan Dell, he reshared a post defending her.
Over on X, account @Wingfoot22 wrote: "It's truly insane how evil and full of themselves people are. I signed my kids up and wasn’t expecting to get anything as we live in a wealthy county and city. Out of the blue $250 showed up from Dell for both of my boys. I will go out of my way to support them now, who else has done what they did? No one…"
Michael Dell simply responded with three emojis, adding: "🙏🫡🇺🇸."

There was plenty of support for the Dells, with someone else saying: "Please disregard the ghouls on this site and others who go out of their way to demean an incredible family."
Another replied to Dell's response with: "Thank you to the Dells for your incredible generosity and support of America’s youth!! ❤️🫡🇺🇸💪🙏❤️."
Another vocal supporter of Susan Dell has been Eric Trump, who also took to X to defend her. Here, President Trump's oldest son thanked the Dells for their $6.25 billion donation, called out the 'vicious' attacks on her, and concluded: "I’m tired of this nonsense. Very few people have done more for philanthropy. It’s disgusting and it has to stop."
While Michael Dell hasn't directly mentioned the way his wife is being ridiculed online, he's instead focusing on sharing positive responses to their donation. A quick scan of his feed shows he's continued sharing letters of gratitude that have apparently been sent in from children who will benefit from the scheme.
