Lil Tay's dad responds after internet sensation made $1m in just three hours with disturbing OnlyFans post

The internet star was subject to a 2023 death hoax

There's more controversy surrounding Tay "Lil Tay" Tian, with the 18-year-old internet sensation finding a new way to divide thanks to a move to OnlyFans. Known for her viral videos, rap career, and claiming she was the "youngest flexer of the century," Tian appeared to vanish from our lives for a period and was even embroiled in a 2023 death hoax.

Taking things in her stride, Tian made her post-hoax comeback with a single titled "Sucker 4 Green". It's been hard to pin down accurate facts on Tian (born Claire Eileen Qi Hope), with claims that she's never been in control of her public image. Despite referring to the late rapper XXXTentacion as a father figure, Lil Tay's biological father has remained an equally discussed topic of conversation.

In the aftermath of Lil Tay moving to OnlyFans and claiming she made $1 million in three hours, her father has spoken out about her new trajectory. Just days after Tian launched an OnlyFans to celebrate her 18th birthday, Chris Hope made his feelings clear.

Speaking to TMZ, Lil Tay's father explained how he won't be keeping an eye on her account. Saying that, while he isn't aware of any NSFW content being posted on her OnlyFans, he's not going to be monitoring it.

Stating that his daughter is now an adult "and can make her own decisions," Hope added: "I am sure she is going to be successful in whatever she decides to do."

Admitting that he's aware "some people won’t approve no matter what she does," Lil Tay's father says he won't be judging her actions and has nothing but love for her.

Early reports about family conflict suggest her older brother was in control of her account, while her father was criticized over reports he wanted to trademark Lil Tay and set up a trust for her earnings.

Tian's main Instagram account made unsubstantiated allegations of abuse against her father, and although it was said to be posted during a hack, a second account then posted personal details, including his workplace.

A slew of posts in 2021 claimed that Hope had court-ordered his daughter back to Vancouver and was attempting to profit off her. Lil Tay's brother even set up a GoFundMe to raise funds amid the allegations.

It was in the aftermath of the death hoax that Lil Tay adopted her mother's name of Tian, and since, her father has faced even more accusations. After being accused of orchestrating the 2023 death hoax, Hope told TMZ: "Everything stated is 100% false, and I trust that this should be obvious to anyone who knows me or the long history of absurd and untrue statements made by the various people who have controlled the Instagram account."

As for Tian, she seems to be embracing her newfound adulthood. When she announced her OnlyFans, a defiant Lil Tay said: "Nobody, including my family, including the grown-ass haters is gonna stop me. You know why? Lil Tay rich and finna get richer, b*tch."
