Pornhub's 'Year in Review' insights have revealed some rather illuminating activities on the adult video website across 2025, yet one of the most fascinating pertains to the average time each country spent on the platform.
Unlike most social media pages designed to keep people's attention across a long period of time, most sessions on Pornhub are understandably on the shorter side of things, yet some areas of the world take a little longer than most.
This could have changed this year thanks to an increase in one particular category, as podcasts have seemingly become a lot more popular to watch on the adult site, yet the most-searched terms overall have remained largely the same compared to last year.
Time spent per visit is definitely one of the more intriguing statistics revealed in the site's Year in Review for 2025, as it's not only the 'winners' that will draw your attention but the differences measured year-on-year too.

According to the data, Japan was the country with the highest average time spent on Pornhub across 2025, measuring 11 minutes and 2 seconds. This is nearly ten seconds longer than the next highest (Philippines), and a staggering 80-second increase over Japan's average viewing time for 2024.
The Philippines also saw a major jump over the previous year, seeing an increase of 112 seconds (nearly two minutes!) compared to 2024, yet the biggest decrease appears to come from Mexico, who was the 'winner' last year yet dropped 105 seconds down to just 9 minutes and 17 seconds on average.
The United States – Pornhub's biggest market by a considerable margin – spent 10 minutes and 14 seconds on average across each visit, earning fifth place across the world yet measuring a 9-second decrease year-on-year.
Chile has the biggest disparity between average watch time and overall traffic, as while it's 'only' the 20th highest-traffic nation in terms of Pornhub visits, it lands in sixth place when it comes to time spent per visit, punching way above its weight with 9 minutes and 46 seconds.
Alongside country-specific statistics, it's also fascinating to see the breakdown between gender and age for average visit time, alongside the fact that engagement across all traffic dropped by 9 seconds from 2024 to 2025.
Female visitors, for example, spent around 15 seconds more per visit on average compared to their male counterparts, and both the 18-24 and 25-34 age categories saw engagement drops year-on-year, decreasing by 26 seconds and 12 seconds respectively.
Every age group above that spent more time on Pornhub compared to 2024 though, with people over the age of 65 spending an average of 121 seconds more on the site this year — quite the increase!
