Elon Musk has had some rather high profile romantic and platonic relationships over the years, but a leaked clip from the upcoming Kanye West documentary shows the richest man in the world sharing some rather odd romantic drama.
While you'd immediately think of Donald Trump when it comes to Elon Musk's close relationships these days, the richest man in the world has forged some fascinating connections over the years with a number of major names.
This is especially true on a romantic level – particularly for someone who has fathered at least 14 children from three different mothers across the years – and Musk has never shied away from sharing his thoughts regarding his current romantic status.
Although it was revealed that both his 13th and 14th children were born earlier this year, both to different mothers with one coming into the world in secret, the billionaire hasn't been in a public relationship for a number of years now, with his last being with experimental pop singer Claire Elise Boucher, otherwise known by her stage name Grimes.

Their partnership has been notably rocky for a while now, with Grimes offering several public pleas on social media following Musk's interactions with their children, and it appears as if things also weren't great when they were still officially together.
As reported by Forbes, footage has started to leak from an upcoming documentary on Kanye West titled 'In Whose Name', featuring an appearance from Musk who was seemingly a close associate of the famous rapper and producer at the time.
The clips, shared on TikTok by Outpump, appear to show Musk visiting either West's recording studio or home, with the two then discussing their romantic situations while lying on a bed.

Musk started the conversation by asking West if his relationship with Kim Kardashian was 'off and on or something', adding that it's "hard to tell."
He then added that this mirrored his current partnership with Grimes, revealing: "Claire and I, Grimes... we're sort of... you know, in the same text stream she's like, 'I love you', and then like, you know, a day later like 'I hate you!'."

Kanye then asked Musk how he deals with a situation like that, to which the tech mogul revealed: "I'm like, 'woah, okay', yeah, exactly."
It's unclear exactly when this footage was captured, but considering rough timelines that chart their 'semi-separation' in September 2021 before fully breaking off their romance in 2022 (and then late on in 2024), it might be roughly around that period.
This is far from the first time that Musk has experienced turbulence in a relationship, as his first wife Justine Wilson Musk revealed brutal responses she was landed with during their marriage, alongside the traumatic incident that eventually led to their divorce.
Musk also confessed that he was in 'severe emotional pain' following the end of his short-lived relationship with Amber Heard in 2017, later describing it as 'brutal'.
