A CEO has revealed how you can avoid AI taking over your job after he wrote a shocking email to his employees.
Micha Kaufman, who is the founder and CEO of Fiverr, warned his workforce that their jobs are ‘doomed’ unless they act now.
With the email circulating on social media, Kaufman took to X, formerly Twitter, to release it himself, writing: “Before it gets out somewhere else, this is an email I sent yesterday morning to my team. It applies equally to the freelance community.”

In the email to his staff, Kaufman wrote that he didn’t want to ‘sugarcoat reality’, warning that this was a wake-up call to warn people that ‘AI is coming for your jobs’.
He continued: “Are we all doomed? Not all of us but those who will not wake up and understand the new reality fast are, unfortunately, doomed.”
He went on to say: “If you don’t like what I wrote; if you think I’m full of s***, or just an a**hole who’s trying to scare you - be my guest and disregard this message. I love all of you and wish you nothing but good things, but I honestly don’t think a promising professional future awaits you if you disregard reality.”

However, there are ways to avoid your job being snatched away from artificial intelligence, according to the CEO.
Sharing his advice, Kaufman added: “Study, research, and master the latest AI solutions in your field. Try multiple solutions and figure out what gives you superpowers..
“By superpowers, I mean the ability to generate more outcomes per unit of time with better quality per delivery.”

He continued: “Become a prompt engineer. Google is dead. LLM and GenAI are the new basics, and if you’re not using them as experts, your value will decrease before you know what hit you.
“Understand the company strategy well and contribute to helping it achieve its goals.
“Don’t wait to be invited to a meeting where we ask each participant for ideas - there will be no such meeting. Instead, pitch your ideas proactively.
“Stop waiting for the world or your place of work to hand you opportunities to learn and grow - create those opportunities yourself. I vow to help anyone who wants to help themselves.”

The CEO’s blunt message has caused a stir online, prompting many people to share their own thoughts on the matter.
On Reddit, one user wrote:“So everyone must become an exceptional talent? Most people don’t have the capacity and are tired. Coming up: massive push back.”
And another added: “The myth of re-skilling. Once those people’s jobs are replaced by AI any other job that they will re-skill to will also be done by AI.”
