We've seen a number of high profile Xbox exclusive titles make their way over to PlayStation consoles in recent years, yet gamers on the blue side might get the chance to play one of the most iconic titles earlier than expected.
Between games like Indiana Jones and Forza Horizon 5, PlayStation fans are certainly feasting on the former Xbox exclusives that have now made their way over to the PS5 storefront.
These formerly Microsoft-bound titles have been among the best sellers for Sony, so they've proving to be a mutually beneficial move for both parties despite upsetting some of the more hardcore fans on the Xbox side of things.

By far the most anticipated upcoming title to make the jump over to PlayStation though is Gears of War: Reloaded, as gamers will finally be able to experience the iconic third-person shooter outside of Xbox systems for the first time in nearly 20 years.
Following an announcement from the Xbox team, much-loved remaster of the first Gears of War entry is scheduled to release on August 26 later this year, yet leaks appear to suggest that we'll be able to dip our toes in a bit earlier than that.

As reported by PlayStation Lifestyle, u/teza789 on the r/GamingLeaksAndRumours subreddit has spotted that a beta for Gears of War: Reloaded has mysteriously appeared on the game's SteamDB page.
If you're unaware, SteamDB tracks any information uploaded to a game's entry on Valve's Steam marketplace for PC users, and it can often indicate when an update, DLC, or playable test is on its way.
While this is only applicable to PC in this particular instance, there's no reason to suggest why a beta would only come to Steam and not to PlayStation, so you'll likely get a chance to test it out no matter what platform you're on.

It has been spotted that the name of the entry has been changed from 'Gears of War: Reloaded Beta' with full key art assets to 'PenPL' with a generic image, but the app type entry still lists it as beta of the Gears of War: Reloaded parent app.
Additionally, heading onto the beta page you can see that there's often a couple of people listed as in-game, which could suggest that developers are currently working on it or it's going through a testing process.
There's no indication of when this beta would be released if it does indeed exist, but you'd expect it to be either just before to give people a taste of what's to come, or a couple of weeks earlier in order to stress test the network for cooperative play.
